What makes us unique

Gulf Coast Brain & Spine Institute offers

Minimally Invasive Brain & Spine Surgery

As one of the pioneers of Minimally Invasive Brain and Spine Surgery, Dr. Peter J. Yeh is uniquely qualified to offer his patients a less intrusive and more accurate alternative to “open” surgery.  By pinpointing the exact area to be affected by the procedure, Minimally Invasive Surgery targets the problem area, sparing surrounding non-affected tissue from damage.

Our philosophy is that preserving the patient’s normal anatomy during surgery leads to a faster recovery.  The Minimally Invasive Surgery technique allows us to achieve this by utilizing the latest technologies, similar to the ones used in global positioning systems.

Minimal access spinal technologies offer the advantages of a smaller scar, faster recovery, and shorter hospital stays – which translate to improved surgical outcomes and greater patient comfort.

Minimally invasive surgeries have been performed on thousands of patients by Dr. Yeh and Gulf Coast Brain & Spine Institute.  A proven surgical method, minimally invasive techniques have provided our patients an alternative to uncomfortable recoveries and lengthy hospital stays.
